What to Wear
Indian weddings are a celebration of colour, and both traditional Indian wear and Western wear are very much at home. A few notes to help:
- Please avoid all-black or all-white outfits — they're not appropriate for a wedding.
- The ceremony is shoes-and-socks-off, so leave the heels at home and pick footwear that's easy to slip on and off.
- For women, we suggest knee-length or longer dresses or skirts. Bengaluru in November is warm by day, so natural fabrics like linen and cotton will keep you comfortable.
